Fraud warning

Our company takes every piece of information and every suspicion connected to fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we identify companies that use our name or names similar to ours without permission. This creates confusion and spreads false information about our company and its services, and it costs honest people real money. This page exists to help you recognise the pattern before it costs you anything.

Why we published this notice

Fraud in this industry works by borrowing credibility. A clone takes a known brand, copies the website design, lifts the text and sometimes even the photographs, then runs adverts promising quick and certain profits under that stolen identity. Victims believe they are dealing with the real company, and by the time the clone disappears, the trail usually leads nowhere. Publishing this notice is our way of cutting the trick off at the start: if you know how we actually communicate, the copies become easier to spot.

We are aware of cases where our name and personal details have been misused for fraudulent purposes that we can neither influence nor control. While we deeply regret the financial losses suffered by everyone affected, our company is not liable for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by parties we have no relationship with.

Clone companies

If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using our brand, our name or our logo, do not share any personal information and notify us immediately by email at [email protected].

Check the domain

Our only website domain is afrilegacy-ai.org. Clones rely on look-alike addresses with extra letters, different endings or subdomains. Type our address yourself instead of following a link from an advert or message, and check it character by character before you log in.

Check the sender

Official email comes only from the afrilegacy-ai.org domain. Messages from free mail services, or from domains that imitate ours, are not us. When in doubt, forward the message to us and ask before you act on it.

Check the promise

We do not offer guaranteed profits, bonuses for acting within minutes, or "account managers" who trade on your behalf and ask you to install remote-access software. Anything that urges you to deposit urgently to unlock a withdrawal is a fraud pattern, full stop.

Verify the person

Anyone claiming to represent AfriLegacy AI can be verified through [email protected]. A genuine representative will not mind you checking; a fraudster will pressure you not to. That difference is itself a signal.

What we do, and what only you can do

We continuously work to identify clone companies, and we act where we can, but we emphasise that some remain unidentified for a period of time. Clients should always verify the legitimacy of any company they deal with online before sharing personal data or entering into any business relationship. A minute of checking beats months of trying to recover money from an entity that never existed.

If you have already shared details or paid money to a suspected clone: stop all further payments, do not send "verification" or "release" fees, gather the correspondence and payment records, report the matter to your bank without delay and to the SAPS, and send us everything you have. We cannot reverse payments made to third parties, but your report helps us warn other people and take down copied content faster.

You will find the protective controls that apply to your real account, two-step verification, login alerts, session review, on the Security page, and the formal route for any complaint on the Complaints page.
