Risk disclosure

Trading crypto assets, shares and other financial instruments carries real risk, including the loss of part or all of the money you invest. This page sets out the risks plainly, without softenings, because understanding them is part of deciding whether this platform is right for you. Nothing here is meant to scare you off; it is meant to make sure you decide with open eyes.

The ten risks every user should know

01

Introduction and general warning

Automated trading does not remove the essential nature of markets: prices move, and they do not always move the way any model expects. Past performance, including results shown in reviews on this site, is individual experience and not a prediction of your outcome. Funds you allocate to trading should be money you can afford to have at risk, not money earmarked for rent, school fees or emergencies.

Before your first deposit, decide the maximum amount you are prepared to lose and treat that figure as a hard ceiling rather than a guideline.

02

Market risk and volatility

Crypto assets in particular can move several percent in an hour and twenty percent in a day. Sharp moves happen both ways, and a position that is profitable in the morning can be under water by the evening. Automated strategies follow rules, but no rule guarantees a favourable exit, and in fast markets a stop level can be executed well below its trigger price.

Practical step: set exposure levels that suit your capital, diversify across more than one asset class, and never increase your deposit to "recover" a loss quickly.

03

Liquidity risk and slippage

Liquidity is how easily a position can be bought or sold without moving the price. In thin markets or during news events, there may simply not be enough buyers at the price you see on screen. The result is slippage: execution at a worse price than expected, sometimes materially worse for large orders or small-cap tokens.

Practical step: prefer strategies on liquid instruments during normal market hours, and be cautious with any asset whose price chart shows sudden vertical moves on low volume.

04

API connections and integrations

Where the platform connects to an exchange on your behalf, that connection depends on an API key and on the exchange's own service health. A mistyped setting, a key with the wrong permissions or an exchange-side change can interrupt a strategy mid-position. Keys stored carelessly are also a classic attack route.

Practical step: review your API key permissions regularly, restrict them to read and trade, never enable withdrawal rights, and revoke any key you no longer recognise.

05

Counterparty risk and custody of funds

Transactions in digital assets settle through third parties: exchanges, payment providers and custodial services. Each of these can suffer outages, insolvency or regulatory action, and in such events access to funds can be delayed or impaired. Trading through a platform does not make those third parties risk-free.

Practical step: keep only your working capital on trading venues, withdraw profits on a schedule you set for yourself, and read the withdrawal policy so the process holds no surprises.

06

Operational risk

Software has defects, servers need maintenance and connections drop. An automated strategy that cannot reach its exchange at a critical moment may miss an exit or hold a position longer than intended. Our infrastructure is monitored and redundant, but no operator in this industry can promise zero downtime.

Practical step: check your open positions and the platform status after any known internet or power interruption, and report anomalies you notice rather than assuming they will self-correct.

07

Cybersecurity and phishing

Most losses in this industry begin not with a hack of a platform but with a compromised user account: a reused password, a convincing phishing email or a "support agent" who asks for a one-time code. Fraudsters clone brands, spoof numbers and create genuine-looking sites.

Practical step: use a unique password, keep two-step verification on, type our address yourself instead of following links, and verify anything unexpected through [email protected]. The Security page details every control available to you.

08

Models, bots and automation limits

Algorithmic strategies find statistical patterns; they do not see the future. A model that performed well in one market regime can lose money when conditions change, and protective mechanisms such as our volatility brake reduce exposure rather than eliminate losses. Automation also acts on your behalf, which means its mistakes are fast as well as its successes.

Practical step: treat any strategy, prepared or custom, as an experiment with money attached. Start small, review results monthly, and adjust exposure rather than trusting any setup blindly.

09

Service availability

The platform requires scheduled maintenance from time to time, and unscheduled interruptions can happen despite redundancy. During a maintenance window you may be unable to change settings, open positions manually or request a withdrawal until service resumes. Market positions remain subject to market movement throughout.

Practical step: do not leave adjustments to the last minute before a weekend or a major news event, and note that withdrawal requests submitted near a cut-off are processed from the next business day.

10

Before you start

Four habits cover most of this page. Understand the strategy you are launching, what it trades, on what signals and with what exposure. Define your acceptable loss before you deposit, not after a drawdown. Protect your account with a unique password, two-step verification and reviewed sessions. Monitor what runs under your name, through the reports and the audit history, at least once a month.

If any part of this page describes a situation you are not comfortable with, the honest answer is to trade smaller or not at all. The market will still be there when you are ready.
